East Cape Resort

AllAboutBaja.com East Cape Resort

Rancho Leonero is an East Cape Resort

The Baja Peninsula is one big tourist destination. The road all the way from the US to Cabo has a wide range of lodging. All over this website, on the pages pertaining to each town, you will find information.

Our favorite East Cape Resort in Baja for fishing and the beach experience is Rancho Leonero Resort. At this East Cape resort, you will find a cluster of palm-thatched stone bungalows and rooms nestled on a rocky bluff overlooking one of the finest snorkeling reefs in Baja.

If you like the simple life, with wonderful hospitality, this is the place for you. The staff all come from the village of La Ribera and are the most friendly and courteous people around. The bar serves all the local favorites, including the best Margaritas around.

They have a fleet of 18 fishing boats, ranging from pangas to luxury cruisers. You embark every morning from a rolling dock right in front of the resort. On your boat will be all the tackle you need and a cooler with your drinks, along with a packed lunch of your choice. When you get back, your fish will be cleaned and placed in a freezer for you to take home. If you decide to have some prepared in the kitchen, the cooks will make Ceviche, Sashimi or cook your catch any style you choose.

The whole Ranch experience smacks of times gone by.
